Today there was 25 more cases all in the north except one and an outbreak at meadow lake hospital I sure hope they get this under control like us here in Saskatoon.

Today we met with management again and discussed several issues, the first being barriers SGI has concluded that vinyl type barriers are acceptable to be installed in the buses, the employer has requested quotes and we’ll keep the pressure on so we have these installed ASAP, we also discussed NO MASK NO RIDE, the employer is putting together a proposal to city council along with our input including NO MASK NO RIDE.

We discussed supervisors not practicing social distancing and reminder will go out to those not leading by example so if this happens to you, note the time date and get us the info and we’ll pass it along.

We talked about uniforms, the employer is going to see if it’s possible for those of us that need uniform items if we can place orders, our supplier is in Quebec and right now most of that province is in shutdown.

Fit for duty forms may be showing up next week sometime, we’re looking at getting it setup so you can simply fill out online, stay tuned for more info on that.

I hope everyone is continuing to wear their PPE and practice social distancing because we’re kicking butt and flattening the curve, everyone one of you should be very proud on how well we’ve all done let’s keep it up till this virus is gone!
