ATU615 attends the 65th Annual General Meeting
We recently attended the 65th Annual General Meeting and the 25th Annual Labour Community Service Award Dinner, which proved to be a highly informative and engaging experience.
The event featured two notable panels. The first celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the Labour United Way Partnership, highlighting the collaborative efforts between labour organizations and the United Way. The second panel addressed the critical issue of Violence In The Workplace, with esteemed labour leaders Barb Cape (SEIUW), Nicole Nuefeldt (SUN 101), Kent Peterson (CUPE), Tracy Sauer (SGEU), and Darcy Pederson (ATU 615) sharing their expertise.
The event also included elections for the Saskatoon And District Labour Council Executive Board. We extend our congratulations to Darcy Pederson, Rhealene Wagner, Tyson Materi, and Stevie Hopkins on their successful elections. We also appreciate the efforts of all candidates who participated in the election process.
The Saskatoon And District Labour Council's commitment to promoting social justice and fairness in the community is truly commendable. We are proud to support their initiatives and look forward to their continued advocacy for workers' rights.
