Saskatoon Transit has addressed the need for route detours due to the full closure of the Broadway Bridge.

Starting on Monday, bus stops of Broadway Avenue, between 12th and 8th Streets, will be temporarily relocated to Victoria Avenue with new short-term signage. In addition, two downtown stops on 19th Street near the Broadway Bridge will be closed. All closed bus stops will have signage directing riders to nearby stops for eastbound or westbound travel. Saskatoon Transit routes to and from downtown will use Victoria Avenue and the Traffic Bridge. Also, the four temporary stops on Victoria Avenue will have parking restrictions limited to the areas necessary for bus stop placement. The Broadway Bridge rehabilitation project is expected to last about six months and will coincide with the start of construction of four new Link station platforms on Broadway Avenue as part of the upcoming rapid transit system.
