Teen girls arrested after two women robbed and assaulted on Saskatoon transit bus

Four teen girls were arrested and charged after two women were robbed and assaulted on a Saskatoon transit bus.
At around 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, July 31, police responded to a report of a fight on a bus parked in the 3500 block of 8th Street East, Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said.
Arriving officers found that four females had boarded the bus and assaulted two women, stealing several items from them. One victim was struck with a large portable speaker.
Police say both victims sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspects were later arrested at a nearby home.
Three girls, ages 14, 15, and 16, each face two counts of robbery and assault, and the fourth girl, 14, is charged with assault with a weapon, assault, and two counts of robbery.
